		<description><![CDATA[I think the biggest problem faced by many unemployed right now is immobility -- being stuck by commitments like mortgages into towns with dead industries.  Allowing some unemployment benefits to be used for relocation might help.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[The failure of job training programs is troubling because it leaves few options for people coming off of careers in industries where employment is collapsing.  People in their 50&#039;s should have at least a decade of productive work left in them; what a waste (to say nothing of expense) to expect them to spend those years on the dole.  Perhaps we will have to institute Vonnegut&#039;s &quot;Reeks and Wrecks&quot; corps, but it seems like there should be a better way.]]></description>
