He points out one of the more <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtontimes.com\/news\/2009\/mar\/25\/viewing-unions-from-the-right-cautionary-tale-of-c\/\">insidious<\/a> aspects of the card check bill &#8212; unionizing charter schools.<\/li>\n<li>You know, I&#8217;m pretty conservative.  But <a href=\"http:\/\/apnews.myway.com\/article\/20090326\/D975MFE80.html\">drug-testing<\/a> for welfare benefits seems like a dumb idea.  This is mainly, I would suspect, going to damage people&#8217;s lives further and make them less likely to become productive members of society.<\/li>\n<li>I have to agree with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reason.com\/blog\/show\/132514.html\">Balko<\/a>.  These arrests for &#8220;sexting&#8221; are just absurd.  I&#8217;ve never understood the logic that you can teach people a lesson by ruining their lives.  It&#8217;s making an example of someone &#8212; which is fine &#8230; if you&#8217;re not the example.<\/li>\n<li>Does anyone take <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zkYmS5ylCrk&#038;feature=player_embedded\">Olberman<\/a> seriously?  We need to put him in a small room with O&#8217;Reilly and let them shout each other to death.<\/li>\n<li>Thanks goodness we don&#8217;t privatize schools.  They&#8217;d be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reason.com\/blog\/show\/132478.html\">selling out<\/a> to advertisers to make ends meet.  Oh, wait&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>As I predicted, Obama&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/Economy\/story?id=7166810&#038;page=1\">tax cut<\/a> is dying the same quiet death as Clinton&#8217;s did.  Although, bizarrely, he&#8217;s got the DNC <a href=\"http:\/\/politics.theatlantic.com\/2009\/03\/democrats_getting_pro-budget_calls.php\">campaigning<\/a> against his own party members to get them to support his budget.<\/li>\n<li>The WSJ launches another <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB123811121310853037.html\">salvo<\/a> against Romney&#8217;s Massachusetts healthcare &#8220;reform&#8221;.  Spending is out of control and the state is going to have to do what they <i>always<\/i> do in universal healthcare situation: rationing and control.<\/li>\n<li>Just when I begin to think Matthew Yglesias is reasonable, he suggests a <a href=\"http:\/\/yglesias.thinkprogress.org\/archives\/2009\/03\/why_not_arbitrary_limits_on_executive_pay.php\">95 percent<\/a> marginal rate.<\/li>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This may be the only time I have something nice to say about Mitt Romney.
