Again, we see the Dave Barry Principle at work.  &#8216;People are suffering and predator lenders\/speculators are making lots of money.  The feds want in on that!&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Paul Krugman: rapidly becoming a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cato-at-liberty.org\/2010\/02\/22\/a-fiscal-train-wreck\/\">punch line<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>For once, National Review <a href=\"http:\/\/healthcare.nationalreview.com\/post\/?q=NzFlNTA5ZGY2NTg1MTdjY2Q1OTE1MWJjZDhkODA4ZWU=\">has a point<\/a>.  Linking insurance to employment is an accident of WW2 wage controls, not a sensible policy.  True healthcare reform would at least loosen that connection.<\/li>\n<li>I always knew those Canadians were <a href=\"http:\/\/bacontoday.com\/the-people-of-canada-choose-bacon-over-sex\/\">strange<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>So why <a href=\"http:\/\/freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/02\/24\/do-women-take-the-backseat-to-men\/\">do<\/a> men do most of the driving?<\/li>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Fed buyout of foreclosed properties is chasing away buyers who do not have powerful political connections.
