The photos of the cockpit are particularly striking.<\/li>\n<li>I was going to respond to the absurd charge that the information age has not improved our economy.  Fortunately, <a href=\"http:\/\/andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com\/the_daily_dish\/2011\/01\/apple-and-our-culture-ctd-3.html\">Sully&#8217;s readers<\/a> got there first.  From my perspective, the information age has created an explosion of astronomy, multiplying our productivity by orders of magnitude.  The mission on which I work would not have been remotely possible 20 years ago.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/news\/education\/2011-01-18-littlelearning18_ST_N.htm?csp=hf&#038;loc=interstitialskip\">Meh<\/a>. I&#8217;m not surprised that many gain little from college.  College has become very hit or miss.  It&#8217;s possible, if you work hard, to get a great education in just about any college or university. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salon.com\/news\/opinion\/glenn_greenwald\/2011\/01\/18\/cheney\/index.html\">another<\/a> of why Obama is little better.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=N_VHEts3fqk\">This<\/a> too.<\/li>\n<li>Stuff like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.outsidethebeltway.com\/chris-christie-attacked-by-conservative-bloggers-for-appointing-a-muslim-judge\/\">this<\/a> is why I&#8217;m really warming to Chris Christie.<\/li>\n<li>Greenwald <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salon.com\/news\/opinion\/glenn_greenwald\/2011\/01\/21\/lieberman\">tears into<\/a> Joe Lieberman.  I would agree with most of it and add, from my conservative-libertarian perspective, that Lieberman is also an uber Nanny-Stater who despises personal freedom and see few limits to the power and scope of goverment.  I never understood his popularity with the Right.<\/li>\n<li>Read how Ohio&#8217;s green energy initiative could have lead to <a href=\"http:\/\/reason.com\/blog\/2011\/01\/19\/wood-burns-better\">deforesting the state<\/a>.  This is why the government should not run energy policy.<\/li>\n<li>Another perspective on the <a href=\"http:\/\/overlawyered.com\/2011\/01\/first-lady-wal-mart-reach-pact-on-nutrition\/\">&#8220;agreement&#8221;<\/a> between the Obamas and Walmart on healthy foods.
