The thing is, I watched <i>Serenity<\/i> as someone who had not seen a single second of <i>Firefly<\/i>.  I liked it a lot, enough to make me buy the series and watch it.  But I do agree with him: you did have that feeling of being at a great party where you didn&#8217;t know anyone.
