Yeah, right.  Conservatives start <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/03\/31\/business\/31trade.html?ex=1332993600&#038;en=7b3971ef38e3ec25&#038;ei=5088&#038;partner=rssnyt&#038;emc=rss\">trade wars<\/a> all the time!<\/p>\n<p>Cheerleading is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/03\/31\/sports\/31cheerleader.html?ex=1332993600&#038;en=ddc0669c5bddb5a4&#038;ei=5088&#038;partner=rssnyt&#038;emc=rss\">dangerous<\/a>.  So why can&#8217;t college cheerleaders get scholarships to balance out Title IX?<\/p>\n<p>It seems to me Alberto Gonzalez is a in a tight position.  If he admits that he talked about the USA firings, then he lied to Congress.  If he maintains that he didn&#8217;t, that means the firings were organized not by the Attorney General but by the President&#8217;s Political Advisors.  That would be, to say the least, disturbing.<\/p>\n<p>Why am I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/03\/30\/business\/30gas.html?ex=1332907200&#038;en=1cc127ce3069ff8a&#038;ei=5088&#038;partner=rssnyt&#038;emc=rss\">not surprised<\/a>.  At least the NYT inflation-adjusted the figure.  Now if they could only adjust it for increasing disposable income.  This also means that the idea of a gas tax to decrease our emissions may not work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bush is a conservative. Yeah, right.
