More than I can possibly right about at right-thinking.<\/p>\n<li>Crook goes after the Dems for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/cms\/s\/0\/f1984d88-7cd5-11dd-8d59-000077b07658.html?nclick_check=1\">dissing America<\/a>.  I think one meme that&#8217;s going to emerge from this election is the need of Democrats to understand how the Great Unwashed think.  They don&#8217;t vote conservative because they&#8217;re stupid; they vote conservative because they&#8217;re conservative.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/mood_of_america\/supreme_court_ratings\/supreme_court_update\">Egad<\/a>.<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>While 82% of voters who support McCain believe the justices should rule on what is in the Constitution, just 29% of Barack Obama\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s supporters agree. Just 11% of McCain supporters say judges should rule based on the judge\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s sense of fairness, while nearly half (49%) of Obama supporters agree.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>A good reason to like Obama.  He&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/insolence\/2008\/09\/barack_obama_provaccine.php\">not going along with<\/a> the anti-vaccination nonsense.<\/li>\n<li>The green&#8217;s are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesonline.co.uk\/tol\/news\/environment\/article4699096.ece\">starving Africa<\/a> with misguided &#8220;traditional&#8221; farming.  But you already knew that.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m not certain what to make on Congress&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/09\/08\/AR2008090802593.html\">effort<\/a> to force DC to comply with <i>Heller<\/i>.  The Feds are right.  But I just get nervous when the Feds start shoving smaller districts around.<\/li>\n<li>Fred Thompson <a href=\"http:\/\/townhall.com\/columnists\/FredThompson\/2008\/09\/08\/the_dangers_of_government_guarantees\">explains<\/a> the Fam-Frem mess better than anyone I&#8217;ve read.  Where was he during the campaign?  Cato does it more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cato.org\/pub_display.php?pub_id=9635\">in-depth<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Energy independence is just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cato-at-liberty.org\/2008\/09\/05\/bipartisan-nonsense-on-energy-independence-and-trade\/\">garbage<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/opinion\/editorials\/la-ed-locke8-2008sep08,0,492245.story\">good news<\/a>.
